Carton box printing can be done in a lot of ways, but nowadays, most of the companies uses robots to do the job. In some industries, there are people working with the machines, but in the bigger companies, the whole process is done by the robots. Firstly, the carton is placed over a slab. Then a piece of metal is places over the cartons, which has writings cut out of it, so when the paint is applied over the whole metallic plate, only the paint from the cut out areas are applied on the carton, and thus the whole printing process can be done in a single stroke. The time taken to finish a carton depends on the size of the carton, but an average sized carton would probably take a minute to get all the sides done.
